We are proud to announce that PiEE International has successfully designed and built the first National Geographic Store in Indonesia, located at Pondok Indah Mall 1. This project blends adventure, sustainability, and urban exploration, reflecting National Geographic’s spirit.
Inspired by Jakarta’s landscape, the National Geographic Store features a topographic façade representing South Jakarta, pillars inspired by MRT Jakarta’s architecture, and curved lighting symbolizing the Ciliwung River. The storytelling area, crafted from bamboo and rattan, highlights Indonesia’s rich cultural and artistic heritage
More than just a retail space, the National Geographic Store offers an interactive shopping experience, allowing visitors to explore digitally. The use of recycled materials in display racks further reinforces a commitment to sustainability.
